Any changes will be communicated to all registered participants within 24 hours of the change taking effect. Point adjustments apply prospectively only and do not retroactively alter points already earned.

5.2 Survey Scoring Clarification

The content, quality, or length of text responses is not evaluated or scored. A response is either present (points awarded) or absent (no bonus).

  • Prizes will be delivered within five (5) business days of the winner announcement.
  • The Parent/legal guardian is the sole prize recipient. The Sponsor does not deliver prizes directly to minors.
  • Winners must respond to a winner notification email within seventy-two (72) hours to claim their prize. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture, and the prize will be awarded to the next-highest-ranked eligible Team.
  • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
  • Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes on prize winnings. Under current US tax law, prizes valued under $600 do not require 1099 reporting by the Sponsor.

7. Winner Determination

7.1 Selection Method

Winners are determined by the highest total points earned during the Contest period, as recorded by Chipi’s platform systems. The Team with the most points earns 1st Place, the second-highest earns 2nd Place, and the third-highest earns 3rd Place.

7.2 Tiebreaker

In the event that two or more Teams have identical point totals, the tie will be broken in favor of the Team that reached the tied point total earliest, as determined by system timestamp. If a tie persists after application of this tiebreaker, the Team with the greater number of total completed actions (lessons + activities + learning labs + surveys) will prevail. If a tie still persists, the Team with the earliest registration timestamp will prevail.

7.3 Integrity Verification

Prior to announcing winners, the Sponsor will conduct an integrity review of the top-ranked Teams. This review is limited to verifying:

  • Points were earned through genuine platform usage, not automated or bot-driven activity
  • No duplicate accounts were used by the same household
  • No anomalous patterns suggesting point manipulation or gaming
  • Journey Log was submitted by the deadline
  • Eligibility requirements were met

This review is a verification process, not a secondary judging layer. The integrity review cannot override the leaderboard ranking except in cases of confirmed rule violations or fraud. The Sponsor’s decisions regarding integrity verification are final and binding.

7.4 Disqualification

A Team may be disqualified for any of the following:

  • Evidence of automated, scripted, or bot-driven activity
  • Use of multiple accounts by the same household
  • Failure to submit required information by the stated deadline
  • Providing false eligibility information
  • Behavior that violates Chipi’s Terms of Service or community standards

If a disqualified Team held a prize position, the prize will be awarded to the next-highest-ranked eligible Team.

8. Journey Log Requirement

Each Team must submit a Journey Log to be eligible for prizes. The Journey Log is a structured document (template provided by Sponsor) summarizing the Team’s experience, learnings, feedback, and highlights.

  • Submission deadline: June 13, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.
  • Late submissions are not eligible for prizes.
  • The Journey Log is a submission requirement only. Its content is not scored or judged and does not affect point totals.

9. Contest Account & Platform Access

All registered Teams will receive a complimentary Chipi subscription for the duration of the Contest period (April 22 – June 13, 2026). No purchase, payment, or subscription fee is required to participate in the Contest. This complimentary access provides full functionality needed to complete all point-earning actions.

Upon conclusion of the Contest, Teams may elect to continue their Chipi subscription at the then-current subscription rate or allow their account to revert to any available free tier.

10. Live Events (Pit Stops)

The Sponsor will conduct live virtual events (“Pit Stops”) during the Contest period via Zoom or a comparable platform. Attendance at Pit Stops earns points as specified in Section 5. Attendance is verified by platform attendance logs. Pit Stop dates and times will be communicated to registered Teams in advance. Recordings may be made available but do not substitute for live attendance for points purposes unless otherwise stated by the Sponsor.

11. Leaderboard

  • A leaderboard displaying Team rankings will be made available to participants during the Contest period.
  • Only Team display names (Parent first name + Child first name initial) will be shown publicly. No full names, email addresses, or other personally identifying information will be displayed.
  • The leaderboard will be frozen at 11:59 PM ET on June 13, 2026. No points earned after the freeze time will be counted.
  • The leaderboard is for informational and motivational purposes. Final rankings are subject to the integrity verification process described in Section 7.3.

12. Sponsor’s Reserved Rights

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

  1. Cancel, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: technical failures, platform instability, insufficient participation, force majeure events, or any circumstance that compromises the integrity or feasibility of the Contest.
  2. Modify point values, rules, or timeline at any time with reasonable notice to participants. Changes apply prospectively only.
  3. Disqualify any participant who violates these Rules or whose conduct threatens the integrity of the Contest.
  4. Withhold or decline to award prizes in the event of Contest cancellation, termination, or if no eligible winner can be determined.

In the event of cancellation or termination, the Sponsor is under no obligation to award prizes, provide compensation, or offer remuneration of any kind to participants. Participants acknowledge and agree that their participation is voluntary and that the Sponsor’s liability is limited as set forth in Section 14.

13. Intellectual Property & Content Rights

  • By participating, Teams grant the Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use submitted content (including but not limited to screenshots, videos, Journey Logs, feedback, and survey responses) for product improvement, marketing, promotional, and educational purposes.
  • Teams retain ownership of their original creative work.
  • The Sponsor may feature Team display names, project screenshots, and anonymized testimonials in marketing materials. The Sponsor will provide prior notice to the Parent before using any content that identifies the Team beyond the display name.

14. Limitation of Liability

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT THE SPONSOR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
  • Technical failures, malfunctions, or interruptions of any kind, including but not limited to: hardware or software errors, lost or unavailable network connections, failed electronic communications, or platform downtime.
  • Entries that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or not received for any reason.
  • Unauthorized human or non-human intervention in any part of the Contest.
  • Any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission.

The Released Parties’ total aggregate liability to any participant shall not exceed the approximate retail value of the prize for which that participant was eligible.

Participants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize.

15. Privacy

  • All personal data collected in connection with the Contest is governed by Chipi’s Privacy Policy, available at chipi.ai/privacy.
  • Parent email addresses will be used for Contest communications and may be added to Chipi’s marketing email list with an opt-out option provided.
  • Child data is limited to first name and age and is used solely for Contest administration and platform personalization in accordance with COPPA.
  • The Sponsor uses generic categories of service providers (e.g., analytics providers, payment processors, email service providers) to administer the Contest. Specific vendor names are not disclosed in these Rules to avoid the need for frequent updates.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Official Contest Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from the Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of New Jersey. Participants consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

By participating, each participant waives any right to bring claims as a class member in any purported class action, mass action, or representative proceeding.
