The Chipi Pioneer Quest (“Contest”) is a skill-based competition conducted by Deal Fanatics LLC d/b/a Kilowatt Software (“Sponsor”), owner of the Chipi trademark and the chipi.ai website. The Contest is designed to support alpha testing of the Chipi platform by rewarding participants who demonstrate consistent engagement through completing the Chipi Learning Path — Activities, Lessons, and Labs — along with the stage surveys and a Final Reflection.
Contest classification: This is a skill-based contest. Winners are determined exclusively by objective, system-verified scores. No element of chance determines winners. No purchase or payment is necessary to participate.

The cohort runs on a shared clock; stages unlock weekly (Week 1 Activities, Week 2 Lessons, Week 3 Labs, Week 4 Final Reflection opens, Week 5 catch-up and close). All times are Eastern Time (ET). The Sponsor reserves the right to modify these dates with reasonable advance notice to registered participants.
The Parent is the sole registrant and primary point of contact for the Team. No registration by minors is permitted.
Upon registration, the Parent will receive a confirmation email containing a welcome kit, contest timeline, and instructions for accessing app.chipi.ai.
Because participating Children may be under 13, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) applies. By registering, the Parent provides verifiable parental consent for their Child’s participation on the Chipi platform. Only the Child’s first name and age are collected. No additional personal information is collected directly from the Child. Chipi’s Privacy Policy, which includes COPPA-compliant provisions, is available at chipi.ai/privacy-policy.
Two separate, independent scores are kept. The Pioneer Score is an action-based point total that decides the overall and weekly prizes. The Feedback Quality Score (FQS) counts qualifying insights in free-text answers and decides only the Most Helpful Pioneer prize. Both are objective and system-verified; no subjective judgment of merit is used.

Set-option (multiple-choice) survey answers are collected for product feedback only and do not affect the Pioneer Score; points come from completing actions, not from any particular answer, so there is no “correct” answer. Time spent in-app is not counted.
Point values are set by the Sponsor prior to the Contest period and communicated to participants via these Official Contest Rules, which serve as the primary mode of communication from the Sponsor to participants. The Sponsor reserves the right to adjust point values at any time during the Contest to maintain competitive balance and contest integrity. Any changes will be communicated to all registered participants within 24 hours of the change taking effect. Point adjustments apply prospectively only and do not retroactively alter points already earned.
The FQS counts qualifying insights in a participant’s free-text survey answers. It is computed per free-text response and summed across all of a participant’s free-text answers, and it determines only the Most Helpful Pioneer prize. Three terms govern the count:

The FQS is computed once, after the Contest closes, by an automated, deterministic process that applies the rule above identically to every response. A per-participant audit log of the exact statements counted is retained, so every FQS total is independently verifiable.

Total approximate prize value: $700. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number and skill of entrants, not on chance.
Every Team that completes all three Stages (Activities, Lessons, and Labs) and submits the Final Reflection will receive 50 Chipi tokens, credited to the Team’s Chipi account. This non-cash participation reward is outside the $700 prize pool and is subject to Chipi’s standard Terms of Service.
The overall prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd) are awarded by highest cumulative Pioneer Score, as recorded by Chipi’s platform systems. The Most Helpful Pioneer prize is awarded by highest Feedback Quality Score. Each weekly prize is awarded to the Team that earned the most Pioneer Score points during that calendar week.
All ties resolve by the following objective chains, applied in order:
Prior to announcing winners, the Sponsor will conduct an integrity review of the top-ranked Teams. This review is limited to verifying:
This review is a verification process, not a secondary judging layer. The integrity review cannot override the score-based ranking except in cases of confirmed rule violations or fraud. The Sponsor’s decisions regarding integrity verification are final and binding.
A Team may be disqualified for any of the following:
If a disqualified Team held a prize position, the prize will be awarded to the next-highest-ranked eligible Team.
Each Team must submit the Final Reflection survey to be eligible for prizes. The Final Reflection is the wrap-up survey for the Quest.
All registered Teams will receive a complimentary Chipi subscription for the duration of the Contest period (July 6 – August 10, 2026). No purchase, payment, or subscription fee is required to participate in the Contest. This complimentary access provides full functionality needed to complete all point-earning actions.
Upon conclusion of the Contest, Teams may elect to continue their Chipi subscription at the then-current subscription rate or allow their account to revert to any available free tier.

In the event of cancellation or termination, the Sponsor is under no obligation to award prizes, provide compensation, or offer remuneration of any kind to participants. Participants acknowledge and agree that their participation is voluntary and that the Sponsor’s liability is limited as set forth in Section 13.
BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT THE SPONSOR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
The Released Parties’ total aggregate liability to any participant shall not exceed the approximate retail value of the prize for which that participant was eligible.
Participants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize.
These Official Contest Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from the Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Camden County, New Jersey. Participants consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
By participating, each participant waives any right to bring claims as a class member in any purported class action, mass action, or representative proceeding.
A list of winners will be announced publicly on or about August 14, 2026. Winners will also be notified individually via the Parent’s registered email address. For a copy of the winner list, send a request to the Sponsor at the contact information below within 30 days of the winner announcement.
